Race Information
The 26.2 marathon starts and finishes in downtown Healdsburg.
The 13.1 half marathon will start at the halfway point of the marathon. Buses will transport athletes from downtown Healdsburg to the halfway point in Geyserville. The finish is in downtown Healdsburg.

Start:
26.2 marathon - 7:00 AM downtown Healdsburg at the corner of Vine St. and North St.
13.1 half marathon - Buses will leave Healdsburg at 7:05 AM to
transport athletes to the start line for an 8:00 AM start.
Parking:
Downtown has
several public parking lots and most side roads have parking. Please
do not park in the Safeway parking area, please leave parking for
the customers.
Timing:
Computerized Chip Timing will be used. Results will be posted at the event. After you finish please return your chip to the finish area, if you fail to return your chip you will be charged a $30 fee.
Race Safety:
The CHP, Police
and course marshals are in place to assure course safety. Please
stay on the right side of the road whenever possible. To assure
safety to you and others no animals, rollerblades, or other wheel
devices allowed on run course.
Time
Requirements:
The 26.2 mile
marathon will have a strict cut off time, you must be able to finish
in under 6:00 hours, a
14:00/mile pace or better.
The 13.1 mile
half marathon will have a cut off time of 5:00 hours.
If you cannot
keep the required pace, you will not have course supervision by law
enforcement or course marshals.
Travel
Healdsburg
is located 70 miles north of San Francisco in the middle of Sonoma
County.
Air Travel:
If you are flying the larger airports are San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), Sacramento (SMF), and now Santa Rosa (STS).
Horizon Air now operates out
of Sonoma County Airport only 10 minuets from Healdsburg.

Course
Prepare
yourself for an epic adventure through California’s award winning
wine region. Start your journey in historical downtown Healdsburg
Ca. located only one hour north of San Francisco. The first mile
runs through the residential area of Healdsburg past 100 year old
homes and quaint streets.
Just outside town are miles of vineyards and dozens of
wineries waiting for your viewing pleasure. Nice gently rolling
roads with breathtaking views of Dry Creek Valley and Alexander
Valley. Everyone likes a downhill finish! The final few miles are
downhill then finish into Downtown Healdsburg,. CAN YOU SAY PR!

Every mile
marker will be clearly marked with large numbers at every mile.
Water and fluid
replacement approximately every two to three miles.
Volunteer
It takes more
than 300 volunteers to make the athletes experience a reality. Would
you or your group want to help make this a great event?
Do you have a non-profit or group that could help? Many
different positions are available including aid stations, course
marshals, medical staff and timing just to name a few.
